Hilary Duff全名Hilary Ann Duff，1987年9月28日出生于美国德克萨斯州的休斯敦，从小她和姐姐Haylie Duff就是众人瞩目的小明星。 从童星到少女偶像，Hilary Duff一路星途坦荡，她的名字和越来越多的电视剧和电影联系在一起，和众多著名影星的合作更让她声名鹊起。
“演而优则歌”该是对她最好的阐释，2002年10月15日，迪斯尼公司为Hilary发行了一张圣诞专辑Santa Claus Lane后，她便开始进军歌坛以展示自己的多才多艺。她的第一张正式个人专辑Metamorphosis取得了巨大的成功，全美专辑销量接近了400万张。2004年9月28日，Hilary Duff第二张同名专辑又以首周19万2千张的成绩名列Billboard 200排行榜亚军
